Stefano Fogli (Milan) joined Adtran in late 2021, as Director Technologies and Solutions for EMEA. At Adtran, Stefano has been working with a number of Tier1 operators and Altnets across Europe, to evolve towards a more scalable, flexible and efficient fixed access network. Prior to joining Adtran, Stefano has matured a very significant experience in the telecom operators area: he was Head of Architecture with Openreach for four years (London), and later Director of Product Marketing with Sky. Stefano started his career at Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) and later Huawei, in the network consulting area, being involved in dozens of different network design projects in Europe, the US, Latin America and MEA.

Stefano currently serves as a member in the Board of Directors of the FTTH Council Europe with the full commitment of driving fiber to every household and promoting a fully digital European society.

Stefano holds a Master degree in Aerospace Engineering and an executive Master in Media and Telco, both from the Politecnico of Milan.
