Christian Berg

Christian Berg is a Senior Advisor at the Danish Energy (Dansk Energi) - a private non-commercial organisation for the Danish utility companies - working to secure the freest and most favorable business conditions for local/regional fibre-utilities in Denmark. He has been working at Danish Energy since the utility companies decided to enter the broadband market in the mid-2000s becoming the main challenger to the incumbent operator (TDC) in the fixed broadband market. Christians work include regulatory affairs in the EU and he has been very engaged in the Broadband Cost Reduction Directive and the new Electronic Communications Code. He represents Danish Energy in the European Local Fibre Alliance (ELFA). Christian has previously worked at the Danish NRA and the Danish Competition Authority.
